Born in Padova, Italy, Valerio Fasoli together with the humanities high school, he studied flute with Clementine Hoogendoorn Scimone, at the Conservatorio di Padova where he got the degree with best marks.

 

In the following years he studie with Raymond Guiot at the Accademia Italiana del Flauto, with Janos Balint.and he got the got the Diplom Künstlericher Ausbildung at the University of Muisc Trossingen (Germany) in the class of Arife Gulsen Tatu.

 

He took part to masterclasses with Aurele Nicolet, Peter-Lukas Graf, Jean-Claude Gerard, Karl-Heinz Zoeller, Rien de Reede, Marzio Conti, Ramson Wilson.

 

1990-1995 he studied at the University Of Padua - Engineering.

 

1997 he won the audition for 1st flute at the Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona, President Carlo Maria Giulini and played with this orchestra for more than 15 years.

 

1997 he was awarded in many national and international music competitions fo flute and chamber music.

 

2001 he started working with the Ensemble PolyphonieT, conductor Manfred Schreier, and he began an intensive activity as soloist and chamber musician, playing from baroque to new music.

 

2007-2009 he was flute teacher at the University of Music Trossingen in Germany and since that he is regularly invited for workshops and masterclasses in universities worldwide. 

 

In the year 2009, he set up the Accademia di Musica di Taggia.  

For this task, he was able to benefit from his knowledge of corporate management due to his studies as an engineer. 

Organizing a music academy requires many different skills. 

By presenting a precise educational model, the commitment of first-class professors to work together on the project, the right connections with the region and the search for sponsors and international partnerships, he was able to found one of the liveliest music academies in Italy.

 

Valerio Fasoli's experience in the opera and symphonic ochestras was enriched by the contact with well-known soloists and conductors. 

All these experiences, as well as many years of activity as a choir director in Padua, Italy, inspired him in 2012 to found and lead the “EnsembleSolisten”, a “chamber orchestra of soloists” and achieved a fantastic success at the first concert, for his clear idea of ​​sound and style.

 

Since 2014 he is Faculty Member of the Narnia Arts Academy International Summer Training Program, Narni, Italy.

 

2015 he set up the Pasquale Anfossi Institute.

 

2016 Valerio Fasoli founded the Wilhelm Bernhard Molique Gesellschaft e.V. in Stuttgart to research, publish, perform and record the composer's works.

 

2018 and 2019 was Jury Member in the Berliner International Music Competition.

 

In 2015 he founded the Pasquale Anfossi Institute in Italy to research, publish, perform and record the composer's works. 

 

2019 was elected as Chairman of the JazzClub Denkendorf to develop a new jazz festival.

 

He is regularly invited worldwide for concerts, masterclasses and as a jury member in international competitions.
